The exhibition examines domestic space, migration, and transcultural identity through architecture, language, and material collections. It comprises a concertina book Haus (Altenfurt),, a sound piece Doppelgänger, Home, an immersive installation, a series of paintings called Colour-Coded /Tower Blocks and Mismatched (Wall Tiles II), and a PVC print mounted on plywood. Rather than framing home as comfort or origin, the works explore how objects, spaces, and language register conditions of movement, displacement, and negotiation within shifting political and cultural contexts.

Following the Clare Winston Award in 2022, I travelled with my sister through Central European countries. Rooted in personal and autobiographical experience, the work developed from the material gathered during this journey, exploring how objects, spaces, and language reflect movement, circulation, and the negotiation of domestic and architectural spaces across individual and wider contexts.
