Inhabited Fragments introduces identity as an assemblage of architectural composites. The series utilizes photographs of vernacular architecture from the specific countries across Central Europe and the UK where the artist has lived. These geographic markers are collaged into singular images, reflecting how disparate places shape a fragmented identity that is continually reconfigured by social, political, and personal histories.

The photographic prints are folded into dimensional, sculptural reliefs that disrupt traditional perspective and architectural coherence. By breaking away from flat representation, the work expresses how lived experience resists a linear narrative. Mounted directly to the wall without frames, these tactile reliefs deliberately expose the physical folds and material surface of the photographic print.
