Halesworth, An Alternative Guide
The photographs were taken during my summer residency in July 2024 at The Cut, Halesworth’s cultural centre.
This series reflects an outsider’s view, revealing the character of place through subtle and sometimes humorous interactions between architecture and its surroundings. Focusing on overlooked details and fleeting moments, the images form a personal visual narrative that reimagines familiar spaces from a fresh perspective. The images were originally presented as a slideshow during the residency’s Open Day.
I’ve created an A5 booklet, ‘Halesworth, An Alternative Guide’ featuring 36 images, accompanied by a map of Halesworth that also serves as a sleeve. The booklet is available for £18 at The Cut, The Halesworth Bookshop, and Halesworth Library, or £16 (plus postage) when purchased directly from me.
